WHO WE ARE

Plastic Wood In Brazil

is fully sustainable, avoids deforestation and encourages recycling.

In Brasil was born in 1994, focused on the production of household utensils with recycled polypropylene. In 2004, the company identified a large volume of plastics destined for industrial landfills, materials that until then could not be recycled due to lack of economic viability for selection and transformation. Faced with this scenario, In Brasil began to invest in research and development, creating processes that would enable the recycling of these materials previously considered unservable, difficult to recycle, because they are composed of plastics, metals and fibers of difficult segregation. In 2014, the company opened an exclusive factory for the production of plastic wood. Today, with advanced structure and technology, operates with three factories, based in União da Vitória/PR, Waste Treatment Center also in União da Vitória/PR, subsidiary in Americana/ SP and U.S. office, In Brasil is strategically positioned to meet the demand for plastic wood being increasingly close to customers.

OUR

TECHNOLOGY

The main source of raw material of In Brasil are wastes* industrial, a material with plastic shavings composed of plastics, metals and fibers difficult to segregate, making these plastic waste difficult to recycle, so would be industrial waste because they would have no other destination if not the industrial landfill. In Brazil transforms this challenge into an opportunity, offering an environmentally correct solution for the destination of these solid wastes. In addition, the recycling process carried out by the company is immediate, with the raw material being processed as soon as it arrives at the factory. This instantaneous operation allows In Brasil to act as a laboratory to analyze the quality of the raw material, verifying, for example, the amount of fibers still present in the material. This information serves as valuable indicators for suppliers, contributing to improvements in production processes and strengthening the commitment to sustainability.

1 m2 deck In Brazil = 22 kg of plastic waste that would go to industrial landfill

*National Solid Waste Policy Law 12.305, 02/10/2010 Article 3 – XV – Defines as Reject: solid waste that, after exhausted all the possibilities of treatment and recovery through technological processes available and economically viable, do not present any other possibility than the environmentally appropriate provision.

COMPARATIVE

MADEIRA PLASTIC X NATURAL MADDER

Plastic wood in Brazil is the ideal choice for external decks and projects, uniting technology, sustainability and economy. With an initial cost close to investment in natural timber and no extra spending on varnishes or pins, stands out for the excellent long-term cost-benefit. Unlike natural wood, which requires frequent maintenance and wear replacements, plastic wood only requires cleaning with soap and water. It is a durable, low maintenance and environmentally responsible solution, ensuring tranquility and economy for your project.

LOGISTICS

REVERSE

The main objective of Reverse Logistics is to reuse the waste or scraps of plastic wood products after the works producing new products. Thus we preserve the environment, reducing waste and waste, increasing sustainability even further. The method is to make products and leftovers go the other way, now going from the consumer to the factory. In Brazil concerned with the fate of the flaps and sawdusts of the works of MADEIRA PLASTICA, collects this material and reprocesses it in the factory, transforming again into a product to delight other environments. With this, when a truck delivers a new material, it will collect the leftovers and bring it to the factory. Enjoying the return trip. In Brasil is always looking for sustainable innovations!
