ON PRODUCT

4. What's plastic wood?

+

Sustainable material made from recycled plastics (polyethylene and polypropylene). Resistant to the sun, rain and humidity, suitable for decks, facades, pergolates, ripples and urban furniture.

5. Is plastic wood in Brazil an ecological product?

+

Yeah. Produced with 94% recycled plastics, without PVC and without natural fibers. The process includes reverse logistics, water reuse and rain capture.

6. What is plastic wood made of?

+

Manufactured with recycled polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP). It does not contain PVC or natural fibers, which prevents rotting and proliferation of fungi.

7. What is the productive process?

+

Extrusion production: recycled plastics are fused into continuous alveolar profiles with internal chambers. The whole profile is of the same material, ensuring resistance and recyclability.

8. What types of plastic wood are available on the market?

+

Three categories: In Brazil (Recycled PE+PP), WPC (plastic + wood powder) and PVC (virgin plastic). In Brasil stands out for its high recyclability and resistance.

9. Is plastic wood recyclable?

+

Yeah. Our profiles are fully recyclable at the end of life and are manufactured with 94% recycled plastic.

10. Where can plastic wood be used?

+

Applications: decks, facades, pergolates, ripples, urban furniture, rural projects and playgrounds. Ideal for outdoor residential, commercial and public works areas.

11. Is plastic wood for agriculture?

+

Yeah. Suitable for greenhouses, corrals, fences and other rural applications — resists moisture and mechanical wear, without rotting.

12. Is plastic wood suitable for public works?

+

Yeah. Very used in squares, schools, parks and urban furniture. It meets well requirements of bids and public contracts for its durability and low maintenance.

COST AND COMPARISONS

13. Is plastic wood in Brazil more expensive than natural wood?

+

The initial price may be higher, but the total cost is lower in the medium/long term for lack of maintenance, painting and replacements. The material is paid with real economy over time.

14. What are the advantages of plastic wood over natural wood?

+

Main advantages: no splinters, moisture resistant, zero maintenance, high durability and sustainability — 100% recyclable at the end of life.

15. What is the difference between plastic wood and WPC?

+

In Brazil plastic wood is 100% recycled plastic (PE+PP) — with no natural fibres —, offering higher moisture resistance and higher recyclability compared to WPC.

16. What is the value of labor to install a plastic wooden deck?

+

The value of labor is defined by partner resales and varies according to location and complexity. The resale will make a technical assessment and present the full budget.

GUARANTEE, DURABILITY AND RESISTANCE

17. What is the durability of plastic wood?

+

High durability, often over several decades. Maintains structural integrity even after continuous exposure to sun, rain and seas.

18. What is the guarantee of plastic wood?

+

Guarantees: 10 years against rotting, drying, fungi and pests; 3 years for loss of tone in deck profiles (as technical limits).

19. Can plastic wood In Brazil lose shade?

+

Profiles have embedded pigmentation and anti-UV additive. There may be slight aesthetic alteration over the years, with no impact on resistance. Three-year warranty for loss of hue.

20. Are the pieces made the same?

+

Yeah. Profiles follow strict patterns; variations of up to 1 mm may occur by extrusion without compromising performance.

21. Are the plastic wood profiles in Brazil structural?

+

The application determines the structure. In pergolates and suspended elements, internal metallic or structural reinforcement is required. In decks, we provide complete system with adequate structure.

22. Are In Brazil products suitable for high traffic?

+

Developed for common residential and commercial use; they are not suitable for high continuous traffic applications.

23. Is plastic wood moisture resistant?

+

Yeah. Fully moisture resistant, does not absorb water and does not rot — ideal for swimming pools and humid areas.

24. Is plastic wood resistant to sun and rain?

+

Yeah. It contains anti-UV additives and is resistant to seaweed, maintaining stability in coastal environments.

SECURITY AND COMFORT

25. What weight per m2 does the deck plastic wood support?

+

Following the structural manual, the deck offers stability and resistance for residential and commercial use. See the manual for specific load values as per application.

26. Is it a non-slip product?

+

It has 3D texture that offers good grip. In ramps, assess levelling and consider additional safety elements if necessary.

27. Because plastic is a hot stuff?

+

Yes, it heats like any material exposed to the sun, but the alveolar profile facilitates faster cooling compared to massive materials.

28. Is plastic wood safe for playgrounds and children's areas?

+

Yeah. No splinters, no moisture and no chemical paint — ideal for children's environments for safety and hygiene.
